Working with a charity to rearrange their offices meant moving departments, eliminating a couple of offices and creating an open plan environment where some departments would now be working next to each other. Space is always at a premium in London and optimising the space to provide a suitable working environment together with sufficient meeting rooms to have team meetings in private.
The directors’ office was moved to make way for a more effective boardroom. 2 offices were taken away to create a more collaborative environment. The acoustics were addressed in the form of acoustic screens between workstations. Sound masking may be used in future in order to assist if the sound transfer is still an issue. Finance and Strategy were given their own small spaces as requested.
